Job Title: Part-Time Licensed Psychologist (Independent Contractor)
Location: Encinitas, CA (Hybrid)
Practice: Nourished Wellness Group

• You have—or are building—your own private practice but miss the support of a team environment.

• You love the flexibility of private practice but want access to community, consultation, and continuing education.

• Supplementing your weekly caseload with 5-10 private pay clients per week sounds ideal.

• You thrive in a collaborative and supportive setting where you can connect with like-minded clinicians.

• You are trained in at least one mind-body modality such as EMDR, Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Yoga Therapy or Somatic Experiencing.

• The business, marketing, and administrative side of running a practice feels overwhelming (we get it!).

• You want a steady stream of motivated, committed clients (yes, please!).

Our Ideal Candidate:

✅ Holds an active independent psychologist license in California (PsyD or PhD).
✅ Experience or training in working with individuals (couples work is a plus).
✅ Familiarity with—or interest in—evidence-based treatments (CBT, ACT, EMDR) and integrative mind-body approaches (Somatic Therapy, SE, IFS, Polyvagal Theory, Mindfulness).
✅ Comfortable and confident in conducting consultation calls with prospective clients.
✅ Strong communication skills—detail-oriented, organized, responsive and professional.
✅ Committed to ethical practice and maintaining HIPAA-compliant documentation.
✅ Experience working with diverse racial and cultural backgrounds, with a dedication to cultural humility.
✅ Seeking a professional home base to supplement and support their private practice.
✅ Excited to be part of a collaborative, supportive, and dynamic team culture.

Position Details:

• Maintain a small caseload of 5-10 clients per week.

• Participate in bi-monthly team consultation meetings for case discussion and support (optional).

Job Title: Part-Time or Full-Time Associate Therapist (Unlicensed, W2)
Location: Encinitas, CA (Hybrid)

• You’re a motivated pre-licensed therapist who’s ready to grow your caseload and clinical confidence in a warm, supportive group setting.

• You’re working toward licensure and excited about the opportunity to gain experience with both private pay and insurance clients.

• You want to be mentored by seasoned clinicians who deeply understand holistic, mind-body mental health care—and business-building.

• You’re looking for a role where you’re encouraged to develop your own voice as a therapist, with the freedom to grow toward private practice or find a clinical home within our thriving group.

• You’re committed to marketing yourself and building your own caseload—with plenty of support from our team and founder, Dr. Kelly Vincent (who happens to specialize in therapist marketing and business strategy).

Our Ideal Candidate:

✅ Registered Associate (AMFT, ACSW, APCC) in California
✅ Actively working toward licensure hours
✅ Experience or strong interest in somatic, integrative, and nervous system-informed therapy
✅ Willing and motivated to build a hybrid caseload of both private pay and insurance clients
✅ Open to learning marketing strategies and taking initiative with support
✅ Professional, self-directed, and values ethical, HIPAA-compliant care
✅ Culturally aware, inclusive, and open-hearted
✅ Seeking either a long-term group role or a launchpad for a future private practice
✅ Interested in team collaboration, consultation, and wellness-based events

Position Details:

• Build and maintain a caseload of 8–15 clients/week, including private pay and insurance clients (or 20-25 if full-time)

• Participate in individual supervision (weekly) and team consultation (bi-monthly)

• Create one blog post per month for nourishedwellnessgroup.com

• Responsible for marketing efforts to attract private pay clients—with training and support from the team and Dr. Kelly Vincent

• Flexible: choose a part-time or full-time schedule that fits your needs
