The Alternative to Group Practice for Licensed Therapists in San Diego
The Collective is a membership community for licensed therapists building their own private practice: a culture of shared referrals, consultation when you need it, and real colleagues, without the isolation of doing it solo. A private practice community for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and psychologists in San Diego.
Connect in person in Encinitas or online, whichever fits your schedule.
Private practice wasn't supposed to feel this lonely.
Nourished Wellness Group is a membership-based community of independent, licensed therapists. It is not a group practice, and members are not employees. Each member owns and runs their own private practice under their own license, with their own clients, fees, and business decisions. What members share is a clinical philosophy rooted in mind-body healing, along with the consultation, education, connection, and referral network that can be hard to find in solo practice. Think of it as having a professional home without giving up your independence.
How The Collective Works
You run your practice.
As a member, you maintain your own license, malpractice insurance, billing, records, intake paperwork, and scheduling. Your clients are your clients.
The collective supports you.
Your membership gives you access to peer consultation, continuing education, community gatherings, and practice support from therapists who understand integrative work.
Referrals are shared within the collective.
Clients who reach out through the Nourished Wellness Group website are personally reviewed and matched with a member whose scope, specialty, and availability align with their needs. The client is then connected with you directly, and you decide whether to move forward together. Members also refer to one another when a client needs a specialty outside their scope.
You belong to a shared vision.
Members are listed as part of Nourished Wellness Group and connected by a common approach: care that tends to the whole person, informed by neurobiology and blending somatic and cognitive work.

We'll review your information and reach out to schedule a conversation. It's a chance to get to know each other, answer your questions, and decide together whether the collective is a good fit.
-
Joining is a mutual process, because fit matters on both sides. First, you'll fill out a short application that helps us get to know you and your practice. Next, we'll schedule a call to talk in more depth about what you're looking for and whether The Collective can offer it. If it feels aligned for both of us, we'll welcome you into the group.
-
Yes. There's no long-term contract, and you can cancel your membership at any time. We just ask for 30 days' notice so we have time to handle the administrative side of offboarding you as a member.
If this sounds like the kind of professional home you've been looking for, share a little about yourself and your practice. Submitting a request is simply the first step toward a conversation, not a commitment.
